OCEANIA/AUSTRALIA - With enthusiasm and spiritual preparation Salesian Youth Movement members prepare for World Youth Day next year

Melbourne (Agenzia Fides) - World Youth Day 2008 will be a meeting of different charisma in the Church, of young members of different lay associations and diverse spiritual paths. Besides sharing experience and ides with young people of other ecclesial reality, just before WYD youth movements and groups will gather together in specific groups.
Members of the Salesian Youth Movement will have two meetings one at the Salesian College Chadston in Melbourne and the other at St. John Bosco Parish in Sydney. They may also participate in the Diocesan Days in Australia leading up to the actual celebration of WYD by registering at the official WYD web site www.wyd2008.org,
The Salesians of Australia, according to ANS information service, will participate at both meetings in Melbourne and Sydney, while the young members of Salesian Youth Movement are preparing for WYD 2008 playing a leading role as announcers of God's love for all human beings.
Salesian Days will be characterised by a spirit of joy, sharing, prayer and learning. The highlight of each day will be Mass when the young people will voice their prayers and hopes.
