EUROPE/SPAIN - Three schools, a recreation park, a medical centre and a church for the villagers of San Bernabé

Algeciras (Agenzia Fides) - The city of Algeciras, in Andalusia has donated ten million Euro to build three schools, a recreation park, a medical centre and a church in the village of San Bernabé, home to ten thousand people.
Construction work has already started on the park and the infant and primary schools and should be completed by the end of the year.
The largest investment will be used for the Virgen de la Esperanza Special Education Centre for which permission is expected to come soon. The third structure, built on an area of 1,600square metres, will be a crèche run by the local authorities.
The medical centre will be built on two thousand square metres of land given by the local authorities and the Health Institute. The church will be built on land in the higher part of the village.
