Rome (Fides Service) – Reflect on service among migrants according to one’s special charisma starting from life experience and following the directions of the local Church: this is the objective of a Course organised jointly by: USMI, CUM e MIGRANTES which will be held at CUM (Centro Unitario Missionario) in Verona, 22 - 25 January 2004. The course is open to consecrated women from all countries involved in pastoral care of migrants and immigrants. The themes to be developed include: “The presence of consecrated women in the migratory movement; historical profile (Sr. Clercy Baccin); Round table discussion among women Religious working with immigrants in prisons, in oratories, in schools, in camps; Migration pastoral in Italy (Rev. Bruno Mioli); The role of Consecrated Women in migration pastoral according to documents of the Holy See and the Italian Bishops; Mission Ad Gentes paradigm of pastoral (Rev. Flavio Saleri); How to inculturate of the Gospel? Listening to testimony: an Italian missionary tells about her pastoral service in a mission land and a non Italian speaks of her pastoral service in Italy; Reflecting on the charisma of one’s own institute in the light of evangelisation among migrants and immigrants.
